Coaching is a tool designed to disclose human potential, to develop a person’s abilities and talents in various areas of his/her life. The English version of the word ‘Coaching’ may ba compared with the word ‘co-achieving’, which means common achieving, joint action. T.Golvy defines coaching as disclosing potential of an individual for maximisation of one’s own productivity and effectiveness. It promotes an independent learning of an individual rather than provides his/her training by somebody.
Coaching may be defined as “a new profession that arose from psychology, management, finance, philosophy, spiritual studies and is designed to improve clients’ life in its professional and personal aspects”.
